Handcrafted in Duluth from our trusty waxed canvas, the North Bay Daypack is a clean and versatile pack for everyday use. Available in two sizes, the 5-inch gusset is a classic daypack shape, while the deeper 7-inch version is ideal for carrying boxy or bulky gear. Inside, a sleeve at the back holds flat items securely. You can even opt for padding if you’ll be carrying a laptop or tablet.

Full-length zippers run down the sides, allowing the pack to open wide for easy packing and access. Interior pockets provide organization for smaller items, while the durable waxed canvas shell sheds weather and wears in beautifully over time.     Heritage Black North Bay

    Let me start off saying this is my 3rd Frost River bag, so that should speak volumes. The layout of this bag is a perfect EDC for me. I have also used it as a weekend travel bag. The padded sleeve is great for the iPad. It's built like a tank and the canvas and leather just makes you feel classic. The reason I gave it four stars is the straps are a bit short. It worked for me but would be difficult with a heavier coat on. I emailed Frost River about getting extension straps in black to match the bag, but was told that accessories are only done in brown. I wish I had known that before and I would have bought the bag in brown so any future accessories would match. I ordered the extension straps which work great and made the size just right. I will have to dye them to match the bag. Love Frost River and I enjoy all 3 of the FR bags that I own.

    One Bag to Rule them All!

    After many years of trying to find the “one” bag for all my needs, I came across the Frost River North Bay Daypack while searching for reputable waxed canvas bags. The 24l pack is roomy enough for an EDC bag as well as a great weekend travel bag. The craftsmanship on this American made bag is top notch and I’m expecting to use this for many years to come.
